Since last few weeks I am being very cautious about my diet, sugar intake and mainly my breakfast. I am not eating too many fruits as I am suffering with sugar problems so I am staying away from fruit milkshakes and smoothies. I always think everyone needs that push in life to become conscious about their food habits, lifestyle and health, I recently had this epiphany and I am trying to change my lifestyle. 😉
I am trying to add low glycemic index fruits and ingredients in my diet and this healthy water is my new brainchild 😉 Since it’s so hot in Singapore, I have to keep myself hydrated all the time but I find drinking water really boring and a task 😛 so I made this exciting water, you can have this as a juice instead of store bought once. 🙂
- 1 apple
- 1 grapefruit
- 2 cups fresh coconut water
- 2 tbsp goji berry
- 1/4 tsp lime juice
Place apple, grapefruit wedges and goji berry in a blender with coconut water. Blend it well, add lime juice and pass it through a fine chinois or a strainer or have it as is.
Chill it before drinking and keep it in the fridge up to 2 days.
